Lajçak is informed at the end, says that the 30 days that Hovenier requested was Borelli’s idea
The special envoy of the European Union, Miroslav Lajcak for the Kosovo-Serbia Dialogue, has said that the idea of postponing the reciprocity decision was Josep Borrelli, head of the EU for Foreign Policy and Security.
“We welcome Kosovo’s decision to accept Osep Borreli’s proposal to postpone for 1 month the decision on reciprocity. The EU expects all obstacles to be removed immediately. HRVP Borrell invited Kosovo and Serbia to engage in dialogue on the way forward. Grateful to USAmbKosovo for strong support”, wrote Lajçak on Twitter.
American Ambassador Jeffrey Hovenier, after the meeting with Vjosa Osmani and Albin Kurti, had proposed that the decision on reciprocity be postponed for a month.
The Government of Kosovo had accepted that request to postpone the reciprocity decision. /Express
