Incinerators, Kryemadhi: $30 million abuses, shepherds and can collectors are emerging as millionaires
Monika Kryemadhi stated at the press conference that the value of the abuses of the fictitious companies connected with the incinerators amounts to 30 million dollars.
“Concealment of income, non-payment of taxes and duties and enrichment of the products of criminal activity. The value of these abuses that have been invoiced is 30 million dollars.
From today, through the addition of the lawsuit in SPAK, there are several documents that prove the violations through the sale and purchase through the fictitious company. They are responsible for appropriating public funds. In these invoices that we submitted to SPAK, they are fictitious”she said.
Kryemadhi demanded from SPAK the full investigation of the incinerator affair. According to her, all threads of this affair lead to Prime Minister Rama, so she emphasized that for her resignation is not enough.

She further emphasized that the Rama government through the scheme of incinerators and related fictitious companies has benefited 189 million euros using the names of shepherds and people who collect cans.
Principal: The immediate resignation of the Prime Minister is the least, as would have happened in any normal European country, BUT the swift and full action of justice, to bring forward the officials responsible for the legal violations of the incinerator concessions, and those responsible for the its financial, is even more important.
Because for Albania, which is waiting to open negotiations with the European Union, the end of impunity, the equality of everyone before the law, be it officials or citizens, is more vital than changing the name of a corrupt prime minister with another one similar to him.
Albanians today continue to pay the Tirana incinerator concession 80 thousand dollars a day.
80 thousand dollars a day for the incinerator of Tirana, from the pockets of the poorest citizens go to the pockets of the owners of the incinerators, who today are on the run from justice, on the streets of Europe, and this money they extort from the citizens is shared with the government.
80 thousand dollars per day for the Tirana incinerator, which they receive without right, since not only is there no incinerator in Tirana today, and the Responsible Authority that follows the implementation of the contract must immediately request the cessation of payments and the concession for non-fulfillment of the contract, but as the fictitious invoices that we have made public prove, the 128 million euro investment that the private company undertook was justified with fictitious invoices, without actually carrying out the investment that entitles the concessionaire to benefit from the 29 euro/ton service fee.
80 thousand dollars a day for the Tirana incinerator, while today we have millionaire shepherds, millionaire can collectors, millionaire old men in asylums and people who have passed away, who are sold to the public as owners of companies that are working on the construction of incinerators.
The last report of the European Commission estimated Albania’s public debt at 82.7%, a record figure in the region.
This public debt has gone to corrupt concession contracts, while 80 thousand dollars a day for Tirana’s incinerator is daily theft, which takes away bread from pensioners, families in need, children, doctors, teachers and goes to the luxury of the government and the machinery of their propaganda to keep the citizens deceived and subjugated./Express
