The UN records about 124 cases of sexual violence in Ukraine since the beginning of the war
About 124 cases of sexual violence have been registered in Ukraine since the beginning of the all-out occupation of the country by Russia.
The figures were announced by Pramila Patten, the Special Representative of the Secretary-General on Sexual Violence in Conflict, citing the UN News Centre.
According to Patten, the available data is only the tip of the iceberg and does not reflect the extent of sexual violence in the midst of Russia’s war against Ukraine.
Meanwhile, according to Ukrinform, since the start of the all-out occupation, Russia has committed more than 22,500 war crimes and crimes of aggression against Ukraine. /abcnews.al
