The Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo raises the status of the Francophonie Parliamentary Assembly
The General Assembly of the Parliamentary Assembly of the Francophonie (APF), by unanimous vote, has confirmed the decision to advance the status of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo from observer to associate member. The decision was taken during the 47th APF Session held yesterday in Kigali, Rwanda.
After this decision, the Permanent Delegation of the Assembly to APF, in addition to participation and the right to speak, will also enjoy the right to vote in the approval of the documents of this Assembly, just like the other members, as well as a number of other reserved rights for associate members.
While raising the status of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo will contribute to the development of new cooperation projects with the institutions, partners, countries, parliaments and governments of the Francophonie members.
The delegation of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo in this Assembly consists of deputy Dimal Basha, leader of the Permanent Delegation of the Assembly of the Republic of Kosovo in APF, as well as deputies Ariana Musliu Shoshi and Fridon Lala, members of the delegation.
