“Officials are reaching too much into citizens’ pockets”, Shehi criticizes the government
Dashamir Shehi, head of the LZHK, has accused the government today during the meeting in the Assembly, that it is justifying its mistakes in the leadership of the country, with the deeds of the government of former Prime Minister Berisha, who was dismissed by the people by vote
Shehi said that the state officials have “extended their hands” more than necessary in the pockets of Albanian citizens.
He asserted that due to abuses, many people are behind bars today and emphasized that if we had a better justice system, there would still be more arrested.
“Every public investment has a very big shadow of doubt behind it. You cannot be justified by what has been done before. They were punished with votes. Now this work is not happening at all. Perhaps from year to year there may have been a very small change. We have a duty to blame the government when it is wrong. Do any of you come out when you’re wrong? Haven’t you noticed that public officials have extended their hand more than necessary to the citizens’ money. It is up to us to review our positions in order to strike to the end this part that is no longer in government. Some are prisons, if we had better justice, they would be another bigger part”Shehi said.
