Arsovska: Taravari can make decisions about personnel in Gostivar, not in Skopje
The mayor of the City of Skopje, Danella Arsovska, has responded to the general secretary of the Alliance for Albanians, Arben Taravari, who said today that ASH will terminate cooperation with Arsovska in the City of Skopje, TV21 reports. Arsovska says that Taravari is competent for deployment of cadres in Gostivar, not in Skopje.
“I do not understand the arrogance and comments of Mr. Taravari, given that our cooperation ended yesterday. He can personally make decisions about personnel in Gostivar, not in Skopje. There is no reason to cooperate with a person who attacks, who has no ethical compass, who justifies any form of violence and shootings like yesterday’s incident and incites inter-ethnic tensions. Skopje is a city of coexistence, solidarity, in which our fellow citizens should live peacefully and safely and respect each other”, says the response sent by the City of Skopje.
This morning, in a statement for a Macedonian-language media, Taravari said that ASH will stop cooperation with Danella Arsovska in the City of Skopje after the dismissal of the director of Municipal Hygiene, Zudi Enuzi-Koka.
“I do not justify the use of weapons, but it was a provocation. The demolition of a hotel, and I don’t understand why exactly that hotel, is a provocation. But people sometimes react emotionally. This is how others would react. The attack at the hotel was reported to the police. Enuzi was dismissed by the mayor, not VMRO-DPMNE”, said Taravari.
