Former Bayern president: Barcelona to stop offers for Lewandowski
Bayern Munich is not easing things for Barcelona when it comes to negotiations for the signing of Robert Lewandowski.
The Bavarians are not only demanding the payment of at least 50 million euros for the striker, but are constantly sending messages against the departure of the Pole.
The last to tighten the noose was Uli Hoeness. The honorary president of Bayern Munich has targeted the latest offer from Barcelona.
“I do not know anything about a new offer. “But as things stand in Munich, what I have heard is that Barcelona must spare no effort to make another offer,” Hoeness told a sports congress in Neuland.
Hoeness insisted Lewandowski still has one year left on his contract with the Bavarian club and that the plan is for him to fulfill it.
“I do not make decisions,” he continued. “But Bayern’s words were clear. They said Lewandowski should honor his contract with Bayern Munich. “I can not imagine that there is a lot of money that would make them change their minds,” he said.
Despite the public stance of Bayern Munich, the player has already decided to play at the Camp Nou next season. /Express newspaper/
