Suspected narcotic plants cannabis sativa are found and destroyed. A quantity of cannabis is seized.
2 citizens are arrested in flagrante delicto, one of them with a previous criminal record in the field of theft.
Following the work to prevent, identify and crack down on criminal activity in the field of cultivation of narcotic plants, the services of the Himara Police Commissariat have continued the detailed controls of the territory. As a result, the police operation codenamed “Gjimlik” was finalized, during which the citizens were arrested in flagrante delicto:
-RC, 39 years old, resident in Vlora, with a criminal record in the field of theft.
-DA, 33 years old, resident in Vlora.
During the control, in the village of Vuno, Himara, in the place called “Gjimlik”, the Police services found cultivated suspected narcotic cannabis sativa plants, which were destroyed by burning. Also, during the control, a quantity of suspected narcotic substance cannabis (plants in the drying process) was found.
From the investigative actions it is suspected that the perpetrators of this criminal activity are citizens RC and DA
The procedural materials were forwarded to the Prosecutor’s Office at the Vlora Judicial District Court, for the criminal offenses “Cultivation of narcotic plants” and “Production and sale of narcotics”, committed in collaboration.
